In order to survive, children have to accommodate themselves to the failings of those around them, their parents and teachers. This adaptation process prevents the child’s true personality, which we refers to as its "name of grace", from emerging properly.
When with empathy, and through the grace we offer each other, we are helped to become emotionally aware of the rejection, abandonment, helplessness, betrayal, we experienced in childhood, we discover the origins of our sufferings. We can then embark on the path to freedom.
