The term “charism” is often used to refer to this fundamental orientation of our lives, whether as individuals or as a group. We use the term, “Name of grace”.
Taking the time to discover our name of grace subsequently enables us to realize quickly whether or not our choices follow in the sense of this “name”, which encapsulates the basic orientation of our life, of our reason for being.
In his small book, “Discovering Your Personal Vocation: The Search for Meaning Through the Spiritual Exercises, Paperback – November 1, 2001", Herbert Alphonso offers an example of discovering a name of grace.
